    wish theyd work out the bugs? out of the f23 an order a few hundred a those for a "dang good deal",if they knew how to get a good deal..man i loved that plane ,all that work,its ashame.forget a few hundred i meant five hundred.."

    Right up until the day they yanked the engines out of PAV-1 and PAV-2, I was still hoping they might be able to finagle a YF-16/YF-17 deal, whereby the USN would contract to buy the "losing" airframe (in this case, the YF-23); I think that, with some modifications (like they did with the YF-17 to turn it into the F-18), it would've turned out to be an excellent carrier-based platform.

    i was thinking of that too. add some landind gear,beef it up alittle,twin engine stealth on a carrier,f23 and f35"awesome"on a carrier,man what a bunch of screwballs to have not done that,the decisions our air force and navy makes...i still cant believe the f22 farce,fruitcakes.
