Then why not withdraw nuclear aid ? Why not blow up the nuclear bases as they are always telling the newspapers they might do ? Why keep making India the villian ? We want peace. If you go back in time, except in the Bangladesh liberation war in 1971, all other wars were in time when India was having meetings to enhance peace.

US is not providing any military aid to India like in the case of Pakistan. In their so-called ******** " war against terrorism " they go around giving pakistan f-16s at chor bazaar prices and millions of dollars. Which pakistan just uses to strengthen its military against India. That's so <beep> fair ! Now even Russia is not as supportive as they used to be, because they think we are leaning towards US, and our retarded politicians are assuring them of the truth of their line of thinking. Tomorrow india is attacked and neither we get US help nor Russian. Great !!! Our govt. has seriously lost it, they are true losers, trying to go around please and flatter everyone. And sadly even the next govt. is going to be a weak coalition as judged from the current state of affairs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Russia will also look to its interests which almost always are opposed to the US. Their main tool of influence on us is weapons so they are playing around with India. There is very little that a coalition govt such as ours can do. We need both nations for different reasons. |

- Pakistan has been their ally for a longer period. - India will never form any military alliance with any nation. Some simple parts of a military equipment deal are enough to cause a political uproar, so forget about military alliances and all. - These things keep on changing, well i have read recently that China and USA were very close on military cooperation to counter Russia, so forget all the talk of democratic nations being friends and all, its all about power. - If we really need support around our negibourhood to deal with a situation or situations, then the job is not done, much more hard work required, i hope our generation can get the nation to that stage(when we do not need support or assistance), so work hard at what you do. For all that matters, reading some history online, it seems till the early 60s USA and India were quite close, and then remember the early 70s.

As has been said before
if it allows the aircraft to turn tightly, and perform extremely high alpha (angle of attack) maneuvers without huge aerodynamic control surfaces, it will be helpful, even though combat might be happening in BVR, i dont think people manning multi million dollar modern machines will like to have a disadvantage in WVR. I think cost is also a important question, a fighter aircraft is a complex machine and adding stuff will sure make it more complex, If the nozzles or vanes used get worn out quickly and need replacement/maintenance the cost factor will creep in. Now its a question of is the added capability worth the cost? and Does this provide a real increase in combat situations? with high off-boresight capability, helmet mounted display and sight system, and shrinking size of electronics which is getting more effective with the reduction in size. Any one care to enlighten us? |
