Hah! I'll be at the Chino air show this weekend and will have my digital camera and spare batteries at the ready.

That's when I'm not working a booth.

Hmmmm. An acro bird. Looks like it's related to the Extra-300 but with a turbine.
Whatever it is, it must climb like a scalded cat.
Is that a P&W PT-6 she's sporting? The stacks look right.
Bodacious intake for a PT-6 though.

Found a racer that looks similar. The racer's wing is too thin for a match,
the turbine intake is all wrong and the straight leg gear is way off.
Rudder looks close so it might be the same manufacturer.
I'll throw it out in case it's close enough for a hint:
Giles G-750?

Looked at the 750 yesterday but the "wheels" put me off. Looking at your picture, I think you are right

Ok, Here's a hint. Powerplant is a Walter M601T, 780hp. The plane weighs 2000 lbs and produces 3200 lb with a five blade prop. Thats a 1.6 thrust to weight ratio!

Good Job!

I was busy reading about The Joplin Project while you beat me to the punch.
Fascinating story: Turbo Shark - Vetsch Air Precision Inc. - Ray Vetsch
Check out the narrative on plane pages 2, 3 & 4.

Good one 7th!

If you ever need heart surgery, this guy might do the cutting.

He is an awesome guy and maybe the best surgeon I have ever seen. He's the reason my father-in-law is alive today. If you ever get a chance to see him fly this plane I highly recommend it! I get to see it quite often, I live close to the airport and he likes to play with it often. I have had several nice summer evenings sitting in the backyard drinking a cool one and watching him go nuts up there.

Good job KA! Take it away!

We use the Mizzou Aviation FBO when we fly into Joplin (KJLN). Next time, I'll thank them for being one of his three sponsors AND directions to his hangar space!
