We don't emit, thus there is nothing for the Russian RWR to detect. We only emit when it's time to lock up a target for the AIM-120. Otherwise, we use offboard sensors through the Link 16 or our own RWR for our situational awareness.

You are correct, the lock on for the F-22 part is what I was referring to. Even thats going to be dayyum hard, what with LPI and all...wonder how many wideband digital RWRs in service today can accurately and reliably recognise LPI radars when they get pinged by one. If they do exist, IMHO, the only option is to deploy the FOTDecoy and run for your life...why tangle with a fighter one cant see!
