IAF to retire the MIG-23 Flogger.

IAF to retire swing-wing MiG-23 interceptor Tuesday - India

I know its not a credible link, but I saw this news on TV too about 15 minutes back. And the reason for retirement is said to be lack of spares.

They made a move for the better. All that money for maintenance doesn't have to go into corrupt politicians' accounts and for maintaining the Mig-23s. It can now at least go into producing the HAL Tejas.
