"So, Snipe... any chance they'd deliver some of those 'personalized munitions' to yours truly?"

You WOULD NOT want these munitions delivered to you!

Maybe to an ex, or an enemy, lol.

How about delivered to me so I can deliver them onto others?

Of course you know that sentence can be interpretated in many more ways than just one, right Stinger?

I've always been fond of the A-10 personally. As the Hog pilots say, "So it doesnt have a pointy nose and go Mach-snot, big deal" or something to that effect. I've also admired the F-111 and F-15E Strike Eagle
As far as air-superiority fighters go, I'm also partial to the F-14 Tomcat

Why of course! Variety is the spice of life! I guess if I had to pick just one, I've always be partial to the A-10. Brute force and all that sort of thing.

It's a shame that the two-seater Hog was never put into production. It wasnt until Desert Storm that the A-10 got any respect and I'll bet more than few Hog pilots were wishing for the 2-seater then.

THey are now. A 2 seat Hog would be great for FAC-A duties.

But it would mean more weight in the cockpit and titanium tub, and less for weapons. Plus, doubles the chance of casualties.

There is certainly a trade-off when you add a GIB (Guy In Baack ) but you gain another set of eyes and hands that do not have to worry about flying the aircraft. It can make a big difference when the flying telephone poles come flying.
Also as a FAC it wouldnt be concerned so much about delivering ordnance so much as vectoring in other planes on target
