"I asked which modification of the Mirage can carry nukes, but i found out already, its the Dassault Mirage IVP"

And the Mirage 2000N but the Mirage 2000E can also be fitted for nukes as well. It all depends on the size of the nuke in thoery with the right size bomb anything can carry a nuke.

"Somebody link me to a website where PAF Mirages have shot down any aircraft, let alone IAF aircrafts"

They have shot down an InAF Canberra using the R-530E, they shot down some Hunters using the AIM-9B and 30mm DEFAs, some Su-7s using 30mms DEFAs and AIM-9Bs along with some Gnats using 30mm DEFAs I forgot to include, my mistake.....

The MiG-21s are claims from the DRAAF....

"By they way, dude, they aren't called the IDF. That's the general name. Their name is the Israeli Air Force, or IAF."

Think how many air forces come from nations which start with the letter "I". Many people call the Israeli air force the IDF/AF, the Indian air force the InAF, the Indonesian air force the TNI-AU, the Iranain air force the IRIAF, the Iraqi airforce the IrAF.....

Is the rafale going to be as good as the EUROFIGHTER?

i do not see as much publicity for it as i do for the EF.

France seems to be wanting to be more independent from europe, building its own planes, ships, and armored vehicles.

France has been that way since the end of World War II.
It chafes on them to use any kind of foreign equipment, like the American F-8 Crusader.

Personally I don't think the Rafale and EF-2000 are very far from each other in terms of weapons, radar, preformance etc... just the big difference is the media blitz the EF-2000 partners do. Right now the Rafale has flown with CFTs unlike the EF-2000 which has been only displayed with them. So in some aspects the Rafale is ahead right now.

1967 6 Day War (IDF used Mirage III, Mystere, Ourgan)
Besides the Mirage IIIC, Mystere IV-A, and Ouragan, I think the Israelis also had a squadron of Super Mystere B2's. They were also using their Fouga Magisters in a ground attack role somewhere in there.
I asked which modification of the Mirage can carry nukes, but i found out already, its the Dassault Mirage IVP
Actually it was the Mirage IV-A, which was designed as a light nuclear bomber from the outset, able to reach Moscow. It looks like a scaled-up twin-engine Mirage III though. The IV-P is the designation given to IV-A's converted to the recon role.

Why do they call it the mirage?

I mean it is not invisible.......or does it mean it is not there or perhaps it means you don't know it is there because ....... what's the reason for calling it that name?

For the same reason they called the F-4 the Phantom, or the F-14 the Tomcat, or whatever. Cuz they are cool names!

Thats why India buys Russian fighters and loads it with avionics from Israel/France and its own home grown just like the MKI.
