And that's a photograph taken by that Italian aeronautic engineer Sergio Coniglio, you can even see the bolts on the cockpet glass frame and something like no-smoking signs on the hanger building columns and all other aircraft details, which is not what you or any other amature Graphics Designer would know in-depth.
    Ha ha ha.
Take a look at the photo, specifically the light and shadows on the floor. Notice the position of the nose of the plane vs the shadow on the floor. Ignore the plane and you get a high sun angle at 90 degrees + or - 5 to the windows. Notice the sunlight on the equipment by the back wall, but not on the wall itself.
Now again look at the shadow of the plane vs the plane itself. For that plane to have cast that shadow, the sun would have had to have been at least 50 degrees behind the photographer. The shadow is of course of a smaller plane further back in the hanger. like I said, amateurs.

No you're wrong, its because of the hanger building's orientation. You can see its clearly daylight, probably between 8 and 10 am in the morning with the shadow of the nose inclined(it appears smaller because it has to, notice the distance between the nose shadow and nose wheel) the back wall of the hanger is facing the N-W and the door of the hanger, in the plane's nose direction is facing the S-E. The shadows and illumination are all in sync, its a photograph, not doctored image. Come on now.....!

And while I remember, I'm not an amateur graphics designer. In 1979 during my 1 year in varsity (that's another story) I used punch cards to programme the universities mainframe to print out a 3ft high greyscale rendition of a playboy centrefold on a slaved typwriter using nothing but the 'x' key. I got an a+.
I am now the senior editor of a nationwide tv station with special responsibility for graphic design, often covering compositing of 20 layers or more of real and animated elements.
And I think in 3d visual images. If you wonder what that means, try building a model of an engine in your head and work out how each part moves. As an example, on an old side-cam distributor ignition motor, if the crankshaft moves clockwise, which way does the rotor on the distributor rotate?

Really? Where's the shadow of the air scoop on the bottom of the plane?

CCW and pardon me then, I didn't know you were that senior but even the lastest softwares like Pro-Engineer, etc. used for computational dynamics cannot give such a realistic image. I maybe a bit of a computer nerd myself, but I trust my eyes.

You won't see it, it falls in the shadow region of the hanger.

My mistake, like everyone else who thinks they're seeing the shadow of the nose, its actually the shadow of the air-intake. The shadow of the nose would not be seen, it falls in the shade region of the hanger. You can clearly see the shadow of the hanger window transom in the lower edge of the intake, starboard side and then joining the shadow of the intake on the floor, further flowing like a line. You can see the shadow of the nose wheel adjoining the intake shadow as well.

That's because he is an ex officer in the Canadian army. He knows what he's talking about and isn't too much of a jerk.
