I would never trust the US at the very crucial moment like in war or so. Why should we, Pakistan is their major-non-nato ally.........despite Pako intelligence having 75% hand in the 9-11 attacks.

Waa, waa, waa. I guess you guys never heard of "MiG diplomacy".

Imo, the Flanker has the edge in aerodynamics, the Eagle has it over the Flankers in everything else.

If I had to choose which one to go to war in, it would be the one with the 104-0 record...

If you could prove that, we would have bombed the sh*t out of them.

But you can't, it's just more Indo-Pak kiddie-WAB/Internet warrior mudslinging...

If I were a small nation, I'd go for Gripen. Newer, simpler, cheaper to run and maintain. Good enough for self defense. F-15K/SG are strike fighters which just happen to excel at air combat. A small nation doesn't normally have a need for long range strike fighters.

I wonder why Singapore needs F-15SG, the Cadillac of strike fighters.

But that doesn't answer the question of why Singapore would need a top notch long range strike fighter for such a small nation.

LOL.

An F-16C/52 is NO slouch at ANYTHING.

And you put AIM9X on any F-16 and i would NEVER close to a WVR fight with it...ever.

As far as BVR, the F-16E/F have superior radar and weaponry than the SU, with a much smaller RCS and visual footprint.

Nah...add AIM9X and AMRAAM to the mix, and the SU30 loses ALL of it's magic.

I doubt it. No one wants to piss off China in the Taiwan affairs, with the exception of maybe the US. Besides, it's a long way from Singapore to Taiwan.

I don't there will be a plane with that kind of record anytime soon. Hopefully we won't have to test the F-22 against anyone to try and beat it.
