Wedgetail

I was passing by the other day and noticed that the Wedgetail was sitting by the fence, so I stopped and snapped a couple quick pics.

Is this one already delivered or yet to be delivered? And, did you find it in the Boeing factory besides I-5?

There is a THAAD conference going next door to my office, might be interesting if they have something like this in Moffett field.

AWACS are such an obvious necessity for the RAAF it's quite stunning that we haven't invested in them more.

Jay, no deliveries have taken place AFAIK. The first 2 are scheduled for sometime this year, and the last 4 by 2008. Turkey has also ordered 4.

Yes, it's sitting on the military ramp at Boeing Field in Seattle.
