I like a little older aircrafts and the good old Mig-21 scores highest, it was after all the fastest aircraft that served in finnish air force. I also like F-86 Sabre as it was the direct rival for Mig-15, those days dogfighting skills were still needed.

I would like to mention the old Me109 of the Luftwaffe, the UK Spitfire and Hurricane, the *** Zero. All good fighters of their days. At least they could see the guy shooting at him...and now its zip zap zoom or boom.

2all: I read (not really detailed though) something about a MIG MFI (MFI -- abbr. from multy-functional fighter). The plane looks like a hybrid of MiG31 (or 25) and MiG 29 with frontal small wings (forgot the abbreviation for them ) a la Su33. anybody heard about that? // uups, sorry, just saw another topic about MIG 1.44 MFI ![]() Last edited by Injecteer : 10-27-2004 at 09:40 AM. |

Su-30MKI.
Of all the jets F22 still is my favourite. ANd BTW do you guys know how many fighters in the world today use passive radar technology to track down enemy aircraft(except the f22).
