Mate,this whole thing is stupid to me.Mind you,I come from a culture that had the same squabbles with the Hungarians over Transylvania.Who was here first?Who came later?who did what or didn't?Here's the thing.There are 6 millions of us and 1.5 millions Hungarians who have every bit of right as the rest of us.They are after 1000 years of continuous living among us every bit as native.You don't tell me that Arabs aren't native after living on the land for 1500 years .
Now this ''right'' to me is BS.In real life,might is right.The Jewish diaspora may have kept the dream of returning to the ancient land,but this is the same as me dreaming of restoring the Dacian kingdom,the Roman empire or for Dok to claim the whole Mid East plus Iran and the Stans.A worthless fantasy.
You migrated there,took the land by force,guile and sometimes with money.The Arabs are pi$$ed at this and want it back.If able,they will take it,if not they won't.No amount of ''right'' will change.

No, this is not meant to insult your intelligence. This is meant to show how the Palestinians are insulting the intelligence of the entire world. 1967 is probably one of the only wars in history where a war was fought, one side lost and that side immediately demanded that things be restored to the way they were before the war, and the world is on their side. In a perfect world, might would make right. In the world we live in, the UNSC has passed more resolutions condemning Israel than all other countries combined.

Since might doesn't make right, and since the world is so stupid as to believe the Palestinians bullshit, the Israelis need to fight the same propaganda war and disprove the Palestinian claims.

You miss the point.It doesn't matter who came first with the idea,you're peddling it now.I don't care if Palestine was a nation,a province,a historical name or a fairy tale.It was used at some point to name the Arab ethnic people that inhabits/inhabited certain territories,some of them in dispute with Israel.They can call themselves Egyptians,Jordanians,Arabs or even the names of their respective tribes and clans.There were real people that stood on real ground on which they don't stand anymore.So even if Palestine is 100% an invented name and it came only in 1948 or 1967,it doesn't matter.Names did not inhabited the land and you didn't displaced names,but people.For Christ sake's(or Allah,Yahveh,whatever),there are cultures in which individuals have different names in a lifetime.
You don't make Palestinian cause a bit less legitimate by claiming their name did not existed.You only look yourselves odd.

Of course might makes right.You don't give a damn about said UN resolutions as long as US is on your side.Nor would I if I were in your position.

This thread is yet more proof that if the Israeli right wants to create propaganda that persuades people who do not already agree with it (as opposed to simply preaching to the choir) it needs to stop using Israelis to do it. In fact, it needs to stop using people who agree with it too. Not helping. Hire Swedes, or Chileans, or perhaps a stray Indian. Hell, get that 'Kony 2012' guy out on bail. Use some high powered US firm run by people who don't attend AIPAC dinners or even hang out much with the GOP. As it is the palestineans not only have their own very effective propaganda machine, but they have right wing Israelis & their supporters doing their work for them too.

Ignore the fact that the Hamas minister says that there are no real Palestinians. Focus instead on this "country" and these people that clamor for independence and yet can't even support their own selves and demand aid and assistance from other countries.

Israel post-1948 never went and demanded fuel for however many people were living in Israel and immigrating post-1948, we did whatever needed doing by ourselves. The technological infrastructure that has made Israel one of the world leaders in many fields spanning the width and breadth of Academia and practical applications was built entirely by the people of Israel.

Before you go bandying the defense support money Israel receives from the US, I've repeated time and again that I am against accepting that money and am in favor of cutting it off, so we can deal with the US as equals and not as vassals.
