The UN does not take any sort of stance towards whether a country is recognized. Nevertheless: The [official UNSD map] (UN statistical division) for Israel's country profile does not include Palestine or any occupied territories and includes the names "Gaza" and "West Bank" for the two "occupied Palestinian Territories" (the UN handle for them). And the [UN OCHA] acknowledges the "occupied Palestinian Territories" as a separate country, with a OCHA country office there.

Guys, chill out.We don't want to break any laws here, don't we? It was just a poor choice of words by someone not so proficient in English.I'm sure we're even less proficient in Turkish,so let's move on.Modern politics is much more interesting and relevant for us,today.

Gents, with or without a Turco-Israeli war starting in the near future, the recent developments are nevertheless important.First,we have what it looks like an American retreat from the ME.Second,we have Turkey approaching the ME nations, culminating with the current diplomatic break -out with Israel. We also have a weakening of the Turkish Army traditional role as a keeper of Kemalism.
Question one,to our Turkish members. How is the new leadership of the Army compared with those that recently resigned?
Question two.I know that in every recent conflict in the ME,the bulk of the Turkish public opinion took the part of the Muslim part. How do you think this position changed your status in the Arab world?
Third.Would you accept a position as a de facto leader of the Sunni ME?Or let's rephrase it,not leader, but as the most influencial Sunni nation in the ME.

Bir beria is one beer in Turkish. Pronounced as beer beera. I figure that's all you need to know.

During Israeli-Turkish conflict we had new NATO Air Defence System that threatens first Turkey than eastern neighbour countries. Arab leaders are not stupid...

Second - all of Europe did not see that 'Jews were bad'. One madman named Hitler did, and he convinced a bunch of other madmen to follow his lead, and got his ass kicked in the process, but not before he slaughtered many, many hundreds of thousands of Jews. As an American of partially European descent, I'm very offended at your statement.
Jewish were collected from entire Europe. It is unfair to blame only Hitler. Years after Hitler died there were Nazis in scandinavian countries. Crowd in silence were not friends too.

Peacefull post WW2 culture of Europe is already gone... emotions overcomes thinking, i mean right-wing parties on rise...

Huh,which ADA systems and where? You mean the Arab leaders saw in this the possibility of closer relations with Turkey?

Also, please, just let Euro politics aside.Besides, the subject of Jews in WW2 is a.very complex and b. regulated by law in several countries.Just let it go.

Not only that, highly irrelevant to any of the several discussions in this thread

Zinja, I think he was responding to me, and in fact I choose not to pursue that aspect of this discussion further. For the nonce I'll stick to

Ahh,that's how all world problems are solved.
If only our world leaders would all agree to sit down over a beer or 12 before deciding to kill each other's citizenry the world would be a much better place...but only if you included a nice bowl of crisps to go with said beer.
