Israel Pre emptive strike vs Iran

Iran has put forward a final proposal that they have decided on for their unranium enrichement issues. If the big 3 of the Eu France,Britain,Germany reject this a pre emptive attack from either Israel or the Usa is imminent.

Although i would favour Israels chances to be the first to attack Iran. Israel is worried about Irans intentions and at an army demonstration, Iran had a sign on one of their missiles saying Israel must be wiped off the map.

The tensions between Iran and Israel will be at an all time high if the Eu doesn't approve of Iran's proposal.

With a pre emptive strike Iran will definetely declare war against its enemy Israel. If Iran survives the war for longer than two months then their sheer excessive numbers will destroy Israels forces.

When Israel comes down they will shoot their whole nuclear arsenal at Iran...

How do excessive numbers make a difference when they have no means of getting to Israel? The US is in Iraq, and unless the Syrians want the US there too, they won't let the Iranians through.

How do Irans troops get to Israel.

It would be highly likely that if Israel attacked Iran in a pre emptive strike then then the middle east will be split by war and islamics.

Also Iran has a very respectable airforce probably rating second too Israel. I would think that the aircrafts would drop the revolutionary guard troops down into the country and they would fly over Iraq and Syria but both would be too slow to make a retaliation if the new fighter jets Iran have developed are used.

Iran will simply use force to get into Israel and on my belief a country of seven million can not take down a country of seventy million. Iran will wipe Israel off the map very heavily.

    Pakistan

Israel would have attacked Pakistans nuclear sites in 1980. Some people in the pakistani government are Musharaffs advisers today. I feel they would overthrow musharraff , the loyal islamic fundamentalists and Pakistan would support Iran in war against Israel.

I'm sorry, but you are ill-informed. Iran's best fighter aircraft is the F-14, and its unlikely they are all in flying condition, and they have been rotting away since 1979 with no upgrades. As for transportation aircraft, Iran does not have any, or at least not enough to launch a full scale invasion of Israel. You do realize the IDF has 180,000 members, and 400,000 reservists? With a decent transport fleet you still can't hope to drop more than a few thousand, and Iran does not have a decent transport fleet. And why is it that you assume the US would not be able to shoot down these aircraft, or at least give sufficient warning to the Israelis to be able to take them out

As for "taking down" Iran, who said Israel was going to? There is a difference between launching an airstrike against nuclear facilities and launching an invasion of that country.

Israel would have attacked Pakistans nuclear sites in 1980. Some people in the pakistani government are Musharaffs advisers today. I feel they would overthrow musharraff , the loyal islamic fundamentalists and Pakistan would support Iran in war against Israel.
I strongly doubt that such a thing will take place, but even if it did, unless Pakistan decides to nuke Israel, their influence in such a war would not be decisive. They can send pilots, small units, advisors, etc. But they can't change the outcome (unless they use nukes).

I highly doubt that israel will initiate any action against Iran! This is all bullshiit talk! iran probably already has nuclear weapons.

A.Q. Khan admitted selling iran many centrifuges and specific output transformers to run those centrifuges! And this having taken place many many years ago during the time of Prime minister Benazir Bhutto in the early 90's in exchange for iran assisting pakistan in estabilishing contact with the DPRK for the TD-1 and ND series!!

Pakistan had to undertake these actions to maintain parity with India and to bypass biased U.S. sanctions which looked the other way when it came to Israeli or Indian nuclear programs!

Musharraf has also warned Israel to not be foolish. If iran is attacked then it will spark a much wider conflict in the region, drawing the shia's into iraq, who for the most part are currently enjoying the Sunni vs Unkal sam + lackeys pissing contest! it will make pakistan or DPRK very uneasy too, and since both are Chinese proxies, possibly initiate many adverse events involving China or even Rusia on irans behalf. you never know. .

Israel and pakistan have no beef or pork between them! They are neither enemies nor friends. ''

Apparently the United States has a contingency plan to somehow secure pakistani nukes in the event of a fundo takeover! I have read about this at Globalsecurity and FAS, but I doubt that anyone has any such capability to go inside Kahuta and secure some 85-100 sub-kiloton warheads!

Besides according to most reports the warheads are dispersed in all 4 corners of the country at AF and military bases. You can't secure them all!

Same thing with iran! its a huge country! It is wishful thinking on israels part that by knocking out Bushehr or Natanz, they can somehow destroy Irans nuclear capability like they did to saddam's at Osirak!

Note, not every body is as stupid as Saddam!

There is only one way to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions! and that is to invade it and overthrow the mulla's! And that is not going to happen, after what we are seeing in Iraq or increasingly so in Afghanista now.

If Israel had any plans to strike, it would have done it long ago.

I agree with Lull, this is all hype.

INMO what really concerns the U.S. or for that matter Israel right now is the fact and reality that they might have to confront, one that entails the DPRK having sold off one of Pakistan's chinese warheads to the Iranians, in the ultimate game of ........................................The price is right!

if you boys know what I mean........ See every thing has a price! Everything.

In all honesty the DPRK is the most dangerous god-damn regime in the world! At least in the case of Pakistan or Israel the U.S. knew before hand ( for the most part) about the level of nuclear capability!

The DPRK is a highly unpredictable regime, and like many analysts believe, now it has become a very convenient proxy and tool for China to express its own dissatisfactions with the west!

The real deal with north Korea lies with China! Because it is the gaurantor of that regime.

yara these Neocons are all ful of shiit! they knew all along everyones capabilities! its just that at some point in time ( conveniently) someone's capabilities become critical!

Comeon dude! I am 100% certain that with A.Q. Khans third world 'walmart' selling gizmos at over capacity, do you honestly believe that North Korea just offered Pakistan or Iran those ND's or the TD's???? just for some juicy and free blow jobs???

I don't think so! its all over the intelligence communities that there were very elaborate ( Barter) exchanges! Supposedly China looked the other way when Pakistan resold chinese technology back to the north Koreans, for those ICBM's! ( to circumvent U.S. trade sanctions or blame)

And dude it would be highly gullible for all of us to believe that north Korea was not tempted with iranian billions! specially now that its been confirmed that iran financed the TD and ND projects for the DPRK!

You gotto to be kidding me!

iran has a lot of money man, unlike Pakistan! Money opens a lot of doors Ray! North Korean ones specially

The way Iran's been "misbehavin" recently.......only confirms this hypothesis that our DPRK buddies have pulled a fast one on us! And there's nothing no one can now do about it.

There will probably be a war(or at the least direct military conflict) between the US and Iran in the next 4 years.

    Sniper,

There is a problem about any war in 4 years because as per the report below, Iran already has weapons-grade uranium and a design for a nuclear bomb.

    http://www.telegraphindia.com/104111...ry_4018045.asp
Iran exiles nail Pak on nuke bomb design

Vienna, Nov. 17 (Reuters): Iran obtained weapons-grade uranium and a design for a nuclear bomb from a Pakistani scientist who has admitted to selling nuclear secrets abroad, an exiled Iranian Opposition group said today.
The group, which has given accurate information before, also said Iran is secretly enriching uranium at a military site previously unknown to the UN, despite promising France, Britain and Germany that it would halt all such work. “(Abdul Qadeer) Khan gave Iran a quantity of HEU (highly enriched uranium) in 2001, so they already have some,” Farid Soleiman, a senior spokesman for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), said. “I would doubt it was given enough for a weapon,” he added.

Soleiman said Khan, who ran a global nuclear black market that supplied Libya and Iran with uranium-enrichment technology until it was shut down earlier this year, also gave Iran a Chinese-developed warhead design sometime between 1994 and 1996.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has said Khan’s network gave Libya the bomb design and is trying to find out whether Iran got it too. But it has no proof it did. Pakistan’s mission to the UN in Vienna said it had no knowledge of this allegation and no information to provide. IAEA officials, as well as Iran’s UN ambassador, were not immediately available for comment. Diplomats in Vienna who follow the IAEA, the UN nuclear watchdog, say the NCRI has been the best source of information on Tehran’s undeclared nuclear programme.

The NCRI, like Washington, accuses the Iranian government of of secretly developing atomic weapons. Tehran dismisses this allegation, insisting its nuclear programme is peaceful.

The NCRI is the political wing of the exiled group known as the People’s Mujahideen Organisation. Both are listed by the US state department as terrorist organisations.

Soleiman said Iran was enriching uranium, a process of purifying it for use as fuel for power plants or bombs, at a site in northeastern Tehran as part of a continuing covert programme to develop nuclear weapons.

“It continues to enrich uranium as we speak,” Soleiman said. He said the site had an unknown number of centrifuges, which purify uranium by spinning at supersonic speeds, as well as other technologies used to enrich uranium.
Obviously, Iran will use nukes if attacked since they have the delivery systems too.
