It's not like they were hooking their balls up to batteries or anything or cutting off their legs and arms.

They just made up look like a bunch of homosexuals.

Get over it, they deserve to get shot. Making them look like a bunch of fags is minor.

Not minor. This is a major violation of the GC and as such, the violators are going to get their balls hang (metaphorically speaking). I would hang these idiots myself for

    a) violtating the GC
    b) getting caught
    c) for being stupid enough to make their own evidence (ie photos)

The fact that it violated the GC is completly irrelivent to the fact if it was moral or not do so. These people have no right to exsist beyond the fact that we can use them to gain intelligence.

This being said it is stupid and completly uncivilized and should not happen again. These "soldiers" should get a swift kick in the ass for being complete dumb asses.

Completely revelent. It has nothing to do with morality. It has everything to do with being able to follow orders. If you violate orders, you better have a damned good reason and be completely ready to accept the consequences. This horseshit is stupid beyond belief.

Following the GC is also a Gentlemen's game. If you wanted to be treated like a Gentleman (ie have your own people who are PoWs to be treated every courtesy under the GC), then you have to act as a Gentleman even if those whom you are fighting ain't Gentlemen.

In the event of war, I expected the Soviets/Russians to treat my people under the GC just as I am sure that they expect me to do the same. If they figured that I won't do so, then, they had no compulsion to do so either.

Yes it is. They should have allready known better, they shouldn't need to see GC rules to know better.

Hey I agree with you, disobeying just orders(and not tutoring prisonors is obviously one of them) should be punished. I am not arguing that point. I am just pointing out that the GC should not be our moral compass.

You should not need a moral compass.

Treat others how you would like to be treated.

The way those Iraqis were treated is discusting, hooking ones family jewels to wires????? Thats just plain sick and evil, I thaught only they (the Iraqis) acted that way. The MP's should beat the people responsible till the floor runs red. This kind of POW treatment will just get more Muslims against the US.

These acts didn't serve any purpose except to entertain the perverted people who perpetrated the act....

I agree we shouldn't lock up Saddam, I wouldn't want to be treated like that. To arrest criminals is bad afterall I wouldn't want to be treated like that. It is the stupidest morality I have every heard of.

Those who feel that these acts are justified, I recommend you should keep yourself busy with gay sites and other porn sites since you have a depraved mind.

I am rather astonished that such sentiments could be aired publicly.

May I ask you how would you feel if an US citizen was raped or sodomised in a foregin country? If that happened to any of my citizens, I would be outraged as I am outraged by these pictures.

Why did the US go beserk with the Catholic priest screwing some little boys and girls? Why are they so outraged about Micheal Jackson?

Come on, let decency prevail. What this hoop la then in the US about Human Rights? Is Human Rights applicable to the US citizens alone?

Let anarchy prevail seems to be the refrain.

Yet, I draw solace that there are US posters here, who too feel that it was disgusting and action is due.

Whats the difference between the Iraqis and the Americans and doesn't these type of pervered acts ruin the case of Freedom and Democracy? Is getting sodomised liberation?

    Muffinman,

    You are an odd fish.

They shouldn't have taken the pictures?

    Good.

The, whats the difference between the USSR and the US?

    Do explain.

I also recommend that you get your GRAMMAR which means
that part of the study of language which deals with the forms and structure of words (morphology), with their customary arrangement in phrases and sentences (syntax), and now often with language
