I got here during the revolution, and I can see that I have seen change. It is slow, but things are starting to get better. My wife is from Zugdidi, and I wish that they would do more for the smaller towns and less for Tbilisi. THere are too many people in this damn palce as it is, and because they are fixing Tbilisi up more and more people are coming here. My Georgian friends tell me that people in Tbilisi are not really Georgian, and I agree. If you are in a small town or out in the country side people are nice, but I would love to kill half of the pop of Tbilisi. The people feel that they are special, above the law, and better than people in the rest of the country. I hope that my wife gets her visa so that we can get back to Texas. I hope that by the time I am 65 or so (27 now) that things will be better here, because I want to build a little house on the Black Sea on some land my father-in-law has.

ETA: Also the commie invasion, including sqwert and his need to post a slideshow of a Russian soldier being executed everytime "Caucasus" was mentioned..and accusing anyone & everyone from that region of being a Basayev flunkie.
