*salutes the Ensign and the OOD, crosses the patio, daddy-o*
Yep, kid in college is indeed a daughter, and a VERY lovely one at that. Unfortunately for you, you know neither location nor name of said daughter, not to mention she's engaged to be married to a nice, wealthy guy from a nice, wealthy family. Might consider fishin elsewhere
Get my own beer? Hrm. Interesting 'step across' from the TAZ (where I was a global mod until I the forums started dying out there) - we had our own pub and the beer flows as freely as it does when recycling it.
Jad - really, does it show that much?
Rickshaw - what Dread said. The man speaks volumes.
Chogy - I've been accused of being a bot a time or two, but only as a 'spamkiller' bot and never a malicious one. I like to think I'm more like a cyborg :P
Julie - thank you very much for the warm welcome. My service was voulentary so no need to thank me for it, but I'm honored that you thought to do so.
Howdy...
Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is to know to not use it in a fruit salad.
Welcome to the WAB BBvet...Do enjoy your time with us and I'm sure you will fit in here just fine.
And if for some reason that daughter of yours is looking to make some mistakes with an Israeli former tank gunner, you just let me know, y'hear?![]()
Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
Abusing Yellow is meant to be a labor of love, not something you sell to the highest bidder.
Israeli is a plus. I've spent quite a bit of time in Haifa and love the people there, and the governmental policies (especially mandatory military service). It *did* take some getting used to though, seeing all those 16 year old kids running round in their combat dress, complete with Uzis. Tanks are a plus too - my Dad got his start in the military as a tank gunner in the National Guard, later activated, given battlefield commission, turned infantry and retired 27 years later a Colonel. Unfortunately, my daughter's quite in love with her young man, so your chances are slightly worse than that proverbial snowball in hell. Sorry mate!
Welcome! Thank you for your service too our country. God bless and protect you and yours!
