Welcome aboard , 1st thing to know about the Military is , NEVER VOLUNTEER , do not ever piss the cooks off , your RSM is God , do exactly as your instructors teach you and be the best of the best or at least strive to be ,always ALWAYS be loyal to people above you and when your promoted to people above and below you , its the best military trait ever ,,,, and never NEVER be a shiny arsed clerk , they are an evil bunch who tell more war stories than people who have done the gig , lastly think of a job in the forces that will be of benefit when you leave ,ie Engineer, mechanic, etc etc .I was a tankster with Dave Lukins , and lovvvvvvvvvvvvved it , but no'one wants em in civilian life Now go Join and learn the hard way and meet the best friends and mates for life you will ever have , except clerks .(not all )
Oh and a word to the wise , there are a lot of Yanks round these parts , soooooooo dont mention the ,,,,
