welcome again; former usn myself, ADR-3, served in VP squadrons both reserve and active; deployed Cuba during missile crisis; spent most time at NAAS Kingsville and Pax, and a little at Anacostia when the main runway was still operative. 6 years total reserve & active...It was either that or the army back in those days.

My old man was aboard the Oxford for the 'CMC'.OTA2 myself.
Fixed and mobile ASW was my thing.Did 6 active and 2 inactive.Went inactive back in '87.

Cool, I didn't set foot on a ship the whole time I was in the navy.  I toured a PRC WWII era tin can in Shanghai later, but that doesn't count.
