I have to agree with Jay there. The Tibetans I have met in America are none too pleased about the way things are being ran there. They don't look very happy on CNN, either.

My contacts in China are reporting drastic changes in the guidelines for acquiring a vista for foreigners and large sweeps in Beijing to detain all foreigners found without papers on them.

Next life I will try to learn Mandarin!

Of course the travel industry in Tibet will be a big draw. As soon as the interest wane, you will have another repression and it will be a hot draw!!

Ray, I searched the information about the Tibet at will, so the link is just one of those things.

Travle industry is a pillar industry in Tibet, the management in Tibet has the economic development index, so they must restore the tourism industry as soon as they can.

And in my opinion, Mandarin is a hindrance between Chinese people and other people. English is not official language. Even so much information is openly in Web, foreign friend also can't find them.

But Mr. I cant agree with you.
This website is established to expose the lies and distortions in the western media. The site is maintained by volunteers, who are not associated with any government officials. It is under construction, so it looks a little ugly.
But I dont judge people just by the way they look like,but by the content of their charactors. Someone in decent cloths may be a totally liar. If you only care about what the appearance, you could be fooled.
