Greetings

Hi, y'all -- former sailor, CTO, found this forum looking for info on one of the ships I was pcs to -- the USS Merrill and pictures of her fate. Also served PCS on the Midway and TAD to several other ships back in the Viet Nam War era -- Independence, Eisenhower, Wainwright, Haleakala (actually that was just a ride back to the Midway after being stranded in the P.I. when she was called out to Talon Vise/Eagle Pull, etc) -- and lots of shore duty at the Cinc's and CNP/NSGA Clark.

If anybody has pics of any of these places, I'm sure interested. Also history in general, labor, politics, etc.

Jolly Jack Tar! Wow, that's a great term I'd nearly forgotten. And I love your tag...sounds like home to me.

And yeah, Tigger, history and continuing analysis of it are good as gold.

I've got that album, Debbie, and a long time John Prine fan! (OK Bonnie Raitt's alright too.) Thanks for the welcome.
