Hi folks, I am a Republican, Steve

I am for John McCain big time because he represents the most important things that I do. I have served and have been in many hostile countries.

Do the two Democratic nominees understand Internation Relationships? Fruthermore does a potential Democratic President realy have the guts to do what is needed for the world, at the sake of "promises for better economics at home"?

I am a Political Science grat from 1984, an old timer. I was and still am most interested in International Relationships...at this time - defeating the Islamic radicals.

Any comment? Please reply.
Thanks
Steve

I am a Democrat. It's just hard for some members of the WAB to believe.

I am glad you posed the question as who would do a better job...to be honest, I am currently afraid to think of the damage that any of the candidates would do. I they could all use some improvement. I'm still undecided.

Welcome, Steve. I'm a REAL Republican, and I do NOT support McCain, big time, or any OTHER time, either.

But I hope you have some fun on our Board. See you in the fora.

Welcome, Steve. It's interesting that you felt the need to loudly announce your political preference very first thing. Can I ask why?

Maybe he figured we shoot Democrats around here and wanted to make sure he was safe?

Welcome to WAB, scope212
This site has far more Republicans than it has Democrats. Are there really no Independents that can inspire the electorate? I find it amazing that the US effectively only has TWO political parties

Lately, that amazes and distresses me, as well, friend.

But they've managed to become comfortable enough with each other to collude on the effective exclusion of any effective challenges to their split power, and that suits them both very well, it would seem.

The deck is stacked against ANY political entityt that attempts to exist independently from the existing, dominant structure.

Too bad; now, more than ever before, we should be given - we should TAKE - more choices than the two mediocrities that we're allowed.

Welcome to WAB.

I doubt I will ever affiliate myself with either of the political parties. I am currently and will remain an independent who will vote for the best candidate, no matter their affiliation or "tendencies."

I support McCain thus far, though it is entirely too early to decide.
