Well, I have been associated with the US military for many years in many places (war zone areas) around the world. I am not sure if most people appreciate the sensitivity of world politics and security. I think the Republicans do a better job. And I think McCain is the most experienced, sensitive, and honest of the candidates. Furthermore, his non-partisan tendencies, I think add to his abilities to get things done in congress.

That's because we have a first past the post, winner takes all plurality voting system.

BTW Shawn, I love the McCain Popeye picture. Is that real or photoshopped?

Too every body. I am very content. McCain is my choice and now all he has to do is beat the Dem reps of the poor and ignorant.

Anyone with a Political Science or military background knows what I'm saying.
Good to be back on this forum. Someone teach me how to use it properly please.

Regards,
Steve Copeland

Welcome to WAB.

I don't normally welcome newbies, only those that attract my interest.

As a Brit (borrower), I don't have any influence over the results of the election, but am very aware of the effect that the results have on the world.

I have a few question's to all of my WAB sisters and brothers from the US.

What do you expect from the next PROTUS., and which candidate from which party is offering what you would like to have? If you were in HR and the candidates were applying for the position who would you give it to?

Please be honest, remember you are not politicians.

Tony

I am a Political Science grat from 1984, an old timer. I was and still am most interested in International Relationships...at this time - defeating the Islamic radicals.

Any comment? Please reply.

A very warm welcome and hello Steve.

For starters, lack of really any other choice has obligated me to side with John McCain. This is not an insult to him or any of his many accomplishments. Due to my experience from my occupation I've had the pleasure to see first hand the true meaning of International Relations, and it was remarkable. Now with my limited but very insightful background, to answer your question I'm not to sure that the two really have it at all. If you had to choose though, i mean absolutely had to choose from the two it would be Sen. Clinton. If you want to see I.R. check out NTC and COL. Mustafa.

Welcome to the WAB Steve. You've come to the right place for opinions. I've found the people here to be open and with varied beliefs. I've learned alot here and sure you will too. BTW, I'm a conservative extremist although reg rep, solely for voting purposes. I lost my candidate in the primaries(what a shame). I fear regardless of the choice our path is pretty much set, just one will get us there faster than the other.
