Actually I've never posted in a military forum. I just lurked around in Millitary.com, Militarynuts (singapore),Airliners.net, Military Strategies, Taiwanmilitary.org, and a few others where I can't remember the names. I followed a link here from PaK Defense. I hate forums where a preponderance of the posters are completely ignorant. If I were to post on some of these I'm afraid I would just get drawn into some High blood pressure pointless debates. This is the first military forum I have registered for. The signal to noise ratio is better here. It just needs a few more posters.

Well, if it's ignorance you're looking for, I guess you could say we're full of it :8

At least most of you are semi-rational On some of the forums the blind nationalism is rampant and it is difficult to get around that and discuss hardware and strategies intelligently. On others the political crusading detracts so much from the board's character that it is difficult to stomache. Politcal crusaders are the worst because they make a full time job of visiting as many boards as they can and inserting misleading propaganda into every thread the can get away with.

I know, trust me, it gets so tiring really quick. Finding true objectivity is a pain in the arse.
