WoW what a storm of replies
@Blues man, Shahid means witness, while Shaheed (pronounced with a longer "ee"/"i") means martyr. (And offcourse a martyr in my mind isn't the same as what some suicidebombers would have in their mind) Haha I agree completely, sailplanes are great (If ever in DK, write to me and I'll hook you up )@Glyn, WoW!! I would expect you to have some really really good stories @Gau-8, Thanks man, yes kind of, I am yet to become a sailplane pilot, but I have gone solo @Ray, Tronic, WhamBham, Stan187 Thanks mates @Big K Waalaikumassalam and thanks mate, looking forward to learn some new Turkish terms @ Everyone talking about the meaning of Shahid: On Wiki it says that Quote:

I would LOVE to visit Denmark, mate, and to see it from the cockpit of a sailplane? A DREAM.

Whatever may be the explanation, let our Shahid be the witness and let us not make him a martyr!

Failte to the board shahid, I hope you enjoy your stay
- I also concur with the others, Denmark is a great country, unafraid to speak it's mind (I also like Mr Fogh Rasmmunsen, he's a good leader).
