New member introduction

Hello; happy to be aboard. My primary interest is small combatants, particularly of the WWII and later periods. I've written and illustrated four Anatomy of the Ship books (THE SULLIVANS, GAMBIER BAY, CAMPBELTOWN, ENGLAND) and, with John Lambert, Allied Coastal Forces of WWII, vols 1 & 2 . I also produce a line of scale plans of small combatants of the WWII and Viet Nam eras (http://www.coastalforcesplans.com).

Over the years, I've acquired a PhD from Florida State University, designed technical training programs for nuclear power, and taught technical writing at a college here in Maine. Now, I design ship model kits and build custom models for BlueJacket Shipcrafters.

Look forward to hearing from others with an interest in naval vessels.

Hello to all and Merry Christmas
I am an avid Flight Simmer and enjoy my recent addition to this hobby
- aircraft modelling. I am always on the search for new aircraft and stumbled on the Boeing 797. It appears as if the dimensional specs for this monster are not available yet (at least I have not been able to find any thus far). I have however managed to find a top view drawing to be used as the backdrop for the modelling program I use. Oh for a side view and front/rear view.......anyone know of any in existance?

Thats it for this time

Cheers
