Hello everyone, new here

I just joined today, and I have been looking for a poltical forum for some time now. Glad I have found one.

Anyways, on to me!

My name is Edan Ram, and I am 16 years old. I am very involved in politics , and interested in what is going on in the world I live in. I love metal, especially heavy/death metal.

I LOVE history, simple as that.

Some of my political stances:

Pro-choice: If you are against abortion. don't have it. There are times when it must be done, ie. rape

Pro-Israel: My dad was in the IDF for four years; he fought in the First Lebanon War.

Anti-Bush: I do not align myself with political parties; I take each issue that is presented, and take a stand.

Anti Iraq War: I can go on for hours about this. Sadam was bad, yes, but it was stable and secular. The U.S. took out the prop that was holding it all together; no more prop, and it is a big mess now.

I will be sure to post in the Iraq War section.

Well, that is enough for now. Plus, I have some homework to attend to.

Welcome to WAB. You may be young, but you must be a prodigy, as you have introduced yourself and taken the trouble to complete your public profile.

No doubt about it. Luckily I have grand-daughters aged 12 and 6 who can help me with the wretched things!

Don't worry, Ramster; I used to believe all kinds of silly things when I was your age. You'll grow into some sense.

Probably.

Ah yes the stable and secular Iraq.
24 years of saddam and his sons.
Somewhere between 400,000 and 'over a million' Iraqis killed by him during that time.

Thats somewhere between 17,000 and 42,000 per year.

As you can imagine some years were a bit lean, like after he wiped out the marsh Arabs, but then obviously other years were bumper crops.

Husbands tortured in front of their wives until they die. Babies shot in their mothers arms, then the mothers shot in the face. Sometimes, just the mothers shot, as the babies were so young they couldn't climb out of the pits and therefore didn't need to be shot, just buried.

Then of course there was the invasions of Iran and Kuwait and the payments to suicide bombers families.

Yep, good old stable and secular Iraq.

Forgot to mention the rape rooms. Why, without the US coming in and wrecking all that stability, those could've been in operation still.

Ramster, what else about the Saddam regime are you nostalgic for?

Oh, and the trite, throw-away comment re: abortion...if I'm against murder, should I just not commit one, and let it go at that?

You've joined an excellent message board, mate. But bring your 'A' game, because we're not likely to cut you much slack if that's as deep as you're prepared to think of the issues you raise.

Wear a cup.
