HATES socialists, and has VERY strong views, especially on the conduct so far of the Islam-Infidel War. This will eventually become WW3 and at the moment we are LOSING IT!

Welcome to the board mate, and rest assured you'll find plenty of other codgers with like minded views, as well as plenty of those with opposing views from around the world to argue with.

Hello John,

You will find lots of threads with supporting documentation on the GWOT. Needless to say that there are disagreements that we are losing this war but at least educate yourself with the counter-arguements. They may even change your mind.

Penzance eh? My family history research has my line (ROWE) thick on the ground near Falmouth, the little village of Mylor Bridge actually. My migrant ancestor was one of the few that actually paid his fare out, most came as a 'guest' of the British government.

Over here a "Liberal" is the exact opposite to what most people think of it. Our ruling party at the moment is the conservative 'Liberal Party of Australia', though if the polls are right, the coming election will see them out without a seat remaining.
