Intro, hello

Hi,

My name is Richard. The perfect tag is ironical. I have no experience nor expertise. I do like to shot the breeze about defence issues and equipment, but don't expect anyone to take me for anything but Joe Public. I live near Marshalls airport in Cambridge (UK) and get to see a lot of military aircraft (mostly C-130 transports, some AWACs and the occasional Typhoon). My grandad worked on the design of the electrics (undercarridge and underwing) for the C-5 Galaxy.
