IHS Insurance scam
I have received the same response to a Craigs List ad for a rental property in San Diego. In fact, I have just been alerted that a Bank of America Cashiers Check is waiting for me in my office. What do I do with it? And what risks have I already opened myself up to by him having my cell number and PO Box address?

The cheque will be a fake, hand it to the Feds with all relevant information.

WTF is a "cheque"? Does it rhyme with "shake"? Is this one of those weird Kiwi things?

As an independent arbiter, I got a Czech to check cheque and check on a spell check, and he informs check has a chequered history
