Welcome to Herodotus!
Hey guys,
I wanted to welcome Herodotus to the board - another defection from StrategyPage.com . We actually tend to disagree most of time (although some of that may be playing the devil's advocate in the often bitterly partisan atmosphere of StrategyPage flame wars, where even I've been labeled before by someone as a flaming Democrat surrender monkey - LOL!), but the disagreement stems from the details, and I always come away from his posts knowing more than I did before, as he's very good at posting his sources and laying out his arguments. He comes from a military family, so he's got a deep appreciation for the military, and his work and academic pursuits have led him to contribute to some studies of small wars for the Army. Welcome!

Welcome Herodotus
My favorite antagonist. A true warrior of cyberspace who gives as good as he gets and, frankly, doesn't know the word "quit". Honestly, I've missed you a tad and second Shek's intro.
Look forward to your commentary and, again, welcome! |
