    Introduction

    Greetings to All,
I'm entering myself out of currosity and to use the locator assistance to find old friends.
As for my background, if it is of any interest, I was drafted in 1965, after basic at Ft Polk, and AIT at Ft Knox, I went to the NCO Acadamy and OCS at Ft Knox. After a tour, 1967-68 in VN, I went to Helicopter Flight School at Ft Walters and Rucker. After 18 months in Europe, I returned to VN. On my return to CONUS, I submitted my resignation, and left the service. I'm looking for anyone who flew with me in C3/17 Air Cav(Charlie Horse) or our later designation as D3/5 Air Cav.

    Welcome.

    Welcome aboard, rotor-head!

Hope you like the WAB, and I'd love to chat sometime about your time in Vietnam. My primary flight instructor was a Cobra jock (Maj. John Clapper) in SVN; not sure what year or unit.

Also, I began my Air Force career as a Vietnamese linguist, and I'm VERY interested in talking to guys that were in-country during the war. Never been there myself, but most of my classmates and colleagues were, as members of the Joint Task Force / Full Accounting missions.

Have some fun with these folks and come on in on the discussions that interest you.
