Surgery
Hi. I never really introduced myself, but I, like, have, 100 posts already so it seems rather weird to do so now. Anywho, does anyone know about Bankart procedures, or shoulder surgery in general? I'm having my shoulder joint repaired in about 11 hours. If anyone knows anything, please tell, because I wasn't really told exactly what they're doing, besides that it's the "big one", and I've read some disturbing things on the internet. Yup. I won't be able to post, and further alienate myself on these boards for some time
Recovery time is "atleast" 6 months, but I also read that you can start physical therapy the next day, and that you can drive within two weeks. So, I don't really know what the deal is. If anyone knows anything, feel free to share. Surely, one of you is an orthopedic surgeon, yes? ![]() |

It's not fun. Some people get to do it on command, and some chronically dislocate it partially, but I am having the full enchilada. Hurts like a Mother. Surgery couldn't be that bad. OKAY, now you've scared me ![]() |
