Richard, your translation is cryptic and almost not understandable, but whatever you said about Michael Jackson, he is not your average american male, and certainly not the average rural american. My American 14 year old son could not only take him out being half way to black belt, but he could gut, clean, and barbaque every animal at Neverland Ranch in the process...

Underestimate Americans if you wish. We all have our comfort zones. Good luck.

My English language is disgusting, I know it - I specialized on slavic and Japanese languages. Therefore I am sorry, if not could is accessible to formulate the idea. I did not wish to underestimate Americans, I warned against underestimating Russian, it is a terrible mistake. Today the general tone of our newspapers and our people aside Russian - haughty and indulgent. It is a terrible mistake, it even is dangerous. 500 years those who spoke, that Russia is weak, and tried to check up it practice - paid off for it, and Russia moved apart the grounds up to 1/6 parts of the world. I only wished to tell, that the USA and Russia never should be able to war, the Europe and Russia - never should be able to war. Therefore ridiculously and silly to argue, what army is stronger - American or Russian. It only one factor of a problem from 100 factors. The army of Napoleon during the moment of an attack was much stronger than Russian army, it even has grasped Moscow. In half a year the army of Napoleon has ceased to exist. Hitler's army during the moment of an attack was much stronger than Russian army, in 4 years it has terminated falling of Berlin, and Russian for 40 years occupied half of Europe. It is a lot of such examples. When attack Russia, business is not limited only to Russia, comes to an end that the world changes. The world can change so, that it will be bad both for the Europe, and for America. I spoke that the West, offending Russia and trying to take momentary benefit from confusion and easings of Russia, compels it to stretch a hand to the East. The wise East with pleasure will be seized by this hand; and if there will be a block Russia-China is it will be terrible. Then haughty smiles on our persons can be replaced by confusion and fear. We should be friends of Russia, be friends fairly and on equal, instead of is artful and from a position of force. It will badly terminate.

VovaLee, war in the Chechen Republic is a business in which dirty people do dirty money. In the Chechen Republic Russia is at war with set of the countries, but more all - is at war with itself, such here paradox.

As speak at you in Russia: instead of whether you wish to receive a key from the house in which lay money?
What answer you hoped to receive on your question?

Certainly so it will be easier, but it will be disrespectful to other forum members who do not speak in Russian.

USA V Russia, there are too many factors to consider, firstly both countries have a considerable supply of nuclear weapons and only in exteame situations would they be used.

Infantry:

USA: Well trained and supplied with modern firearms such as the M16 and SAW (Squad automatic weapon) the US infantry can cause some major surgical damage. They have been trained with tried and tested tactics for many situations.

Russia: Although the Russian army has a huge amount of soldiers, there training is small and there tactics are bad, E.G. (The Afganistan War). However there small arms are cheap but effective wich is exactlly what the need in there financial situation, weapons such as the AK-105 and 552 Assault Rifles are reliable and even match up to western equiptment.

Armoured Vehicles:

USA: Modern and well equipt, vehicles such as the M1A1/A2 MBTs are among the most technologicaly advanced weapons in the world, not to mention the M3 Bradley APC.

Russia: Most of Russia's APCs are just modified Cold War weapons, vehicles such as the BTR AND BMP are effective and reliable but only there most modern versions such as the BMP-3 or BTR-90 could mach up with American equiptment. There more Modern MBTs such as the T-80 and T-90 would be a major headache there small, fast and well equipt. A battle with Abrams v T-80s is a battle I would like too see.

Aircraft:

American F-22s v Russian MIG-35s the odds are close and both sides would have a major dogfight on there hands.

The Apache is a very good gunship and would size up well with the Hind (AKA the flying tank)

Conclusion: Who knows it would actualy have to happen before we could tell, but lets hope it never happens.

In war there are no victors all sides have lost.

wrong the russian army is outclassed most of their junk is outclassed. The Us has many more modern MBT's. The US's 155mm self propelled howitzers,MLRS,and apaches as well as well equipped troops armed with TOW's,JAvelins, other rocket launchers, good rifles, etc and btter trianing would eventually defeat the soviet army. Lets face it training is what the ruskies rreally need.

Thank you. You indeed opened my eyes. I'm also glad to see that you finally made one tiny but significant step to improve your spelling and grammar.

Yes, I would be even happier to see few commas in this skillful expertise.
