Could you see the United States or Nato purchasing 1000 or more of these vehicles?

As long as production and maybe some redesign happens in the USA? Sure, wouldn't be the first time.
Remember, the Stryker and LAV are essentially Piranhas III from Switzerland, SOCOM uses Austrian Pandurs, and the NBC forces use German Fox APCs.

Ya I am not a huge fan of the Stryker don't get me wrong, in urban enviroments it is great. But for Mountainous and Jungle type enviroments using the Stryker and these would be the ultimate combo choice. If Strykers had a little bit better armor package then they would be fine. There fast, light, extremley quiet, the troops like them and they are pretty reliable.

I would say a version of the Stryker with a 30mm turret and better amphibious capability is the odds on favorite, mostly for logistics. It would be advantageous if they were able to get spare parts from the Army. However, the AMV looks like a good vehicle and stranger things have happened.
