which is the superior firearm...???

which main military assualt rifle is superior? the american colt m16 or the canadian diemaco c7..? i would say that the c7 is superior because it is the standard issue rifle of the SAS.. and is used by many nato allies...

The Dimeco C7 is a further modification of the American M16. It all depends on who and how the rifle is used and maintained. I myself was trained to use the HK G3 rifle, and the C7 in the Danish army. Some of my friends who did their national service have tried all the types of these rifles and will bet their right ball on the the M1 Garrand is a far more accurate rifle and jamed seldomly. As I said it all depends on the person using the rifle. The M1 normal range is 400m for a secure hit, the HKG3 is 300m the C7 is also 300m but has a very light recoile. A good marksman will save his ammo at make each shot hit.

I'd say the most superior assault rifle is the one in the hands of the most superior soldier.

That is a very wise statement. The rifles are very similar otherwise so it would probably come down to who is the better marksman.

The M-14 was requested by most SpecOps because of the range and durability....but then again it comes down to who is using it...

Personally, I like my lever action '94 in .45LC.
