Don't see anything there that Russia doesn't have in abundance already. I'm kinda surprised about the freshwater. I would expect Russia to have more, what with Lake Baikal and the Dniepr, Volga, Ob, Yenisey, Lena, and Amur rivers. In fact I believe Lake Baikal has more water than all of the Great Lakes combined.

Of course NORAD would pick up any planes or missles, but the north lacks any system to detect subs. What if a bunch of subs launched stealth cruise missles at NORAD radar stations, effectivly blinding NORADS eyes and ears of the north. Then a large armatta of transport ships cross the arctic circle, and following the North West passage in say summer, then land on the northern coast of continental North America.

It would not be untill the Inuit Rangers contact the military and let them know of an invading force that Canada and NATO become aware that she is under attack...

What do you all think would happen next?
What would happen next is that the US, being a good neighbor, would send up a few of divisions (maybe even an army) up north.

Once they have crossesd the border and are officially in Canada, they will be met by 100,000 Canadians holding signs that says, "We don't want baby killers here" and ""more American imperialism!" and "Yankees, go home!"

Lol there is no way an invasion of canada would work simple as that. China alcks the power projection to even get to taiwan.I doubt they could cross multiple stretches of sea and endure the deadly cold. I hear that if you don't wear the proper protection ina alaska or canada or Siberia youw ill die in 1 minute. How long can you survvie allt hat cold not long. Russia can ahndle the cold although they would have a problem with financing the war and has lost power projection as well.(most of its navy is rotting at the piers)Chechnya and Afghanistan proved what a small army can do against a big massed army. And with all that cold and terrain to cross as well as mountains. An inuit attack would cripple any invading force.

Inuits are the masters of cold climate guerilla warfare.

not to mention all of Nato would be involved to repel an invasion.

China does have extreme climatic conditions and they are prepared for mountain/snow warfare.

But as to whether China can possibly land its troops inside Canada, I will believe it when pigs fly.

Canada contains more lakes than anyother country on earth. there is no official estimate, because there are just to many. But the overall agreed amount is around 3million lakes. As for lakes larger than 3 square kilometers, there are 31,191.

Here is a map of Ontario, eastern Manitoba and western Quebec...just look at how many lakes and rivers there are, this doesnt even cover Saskatchewan, and the territories which all have huge amounts of lakes.

Can

Both Russia and Canada have more fresh water than they could use. The Russians don't need ours.

Will never happen! Damn you! We'll see about, that if the Chinese or Russians want Quebec I'm willing to negotiate. Bidding will begin at exactly 1 dollar (U.S). Let the bidding commence.

^^^^LOl!!!!!!

Now back tot he topic although Russia does have a bad cliamte as well int he north I doubt they can fight efffectively in such cold and the Chinese will be much worse off(if they can get their army there that is same goes tot he Russians).I also doubt Russia can finance a war like that. All those troops are going to be sitting ducks for those inuit fighters.

You have to pay them a lot more to take Quebec off your hands.
