Lol there is no way an invasion of canada would work simple as that. China alcks the power projection to even get to taiwan.I doubt they could cross multiple stretches of sea and endure the deadly cold. I hear that if you don't wear the proper protection ina alaska or canada or Siberia youw ill die in 1 minute. How long can you survvie allt hat cold not long. Russia can ahndle the cold although they would have a problem with financing the war and has lost power projection as well.(most of its navy is rotting at the piers)Chechnya and Afghanistan proved what a small army can do against a big massed army. And with all that cold and terrain to cross as well as mountains. An inuit attack would cripple any invading force.
Inuits are the masters of cold climate guerilla warfare. not to mention all of Nato would be involved to repel an invasion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO ![]()

China does have extreme climatic conditions and they are prepared for mountain/snow warfare.
But as to whether China can possibly land its troops inside Canada, I will believe it when pigs fly.

Here is a map of Ontario, eastern Manitoba and western Quebec...just look at how many lakes and rivers there are, this doesnt even cover Saskatchewan, and the territories which all have huge amounts of lakes. Last edited by Canmoore : 08-15-2006 at 00:54 AM. |

^^^^LOl!!!!!!
Now back tot he topic although Russia does have a bad cliamte as well int he north I doubt they can fight efffectively in such cold and the Chinese will be much worse off(if they can get their army there that is same goes tot he Russians).I also doubt Russia can finance a war like that. All those troops are going to be sitting ducks for those inuit fighters. ![]() |
