no. I am saying that the genocide option isn't viable (on moral grounds obviously), but wouldn't have the desired result in the current media spotlight that would be on it.
I doubt the people of Israel would support it anyway, and it isn't something that could be hidden.

Ok, now that makes sense. The people who needs to do the genocide (or at the very least, the threat of genocide) doesn't have the balls to do it.
Media spotlight has NEVER been a deterence to genocide or genocide-like acts (ie ethnic cleansing). I've seen enough of CNN coverage to know that it didn't detered anyone in Yugoslavia and pregnant teenagers were butchering each other in Rwanda in front of CNN cameras.
