Why do Jews and Arabs / Muslims hate each other?

Some Jews and Arabs today don’t even truly know why they are in hostility with each other. All they know is that they don’t like each other and that it has always been that way. Quite a tragic lesson to be learned from Abraham. What would the world be like today if Abraham had trusted God and waited for Him to provide a son through Sarah as He promised instead of trying to “help God” by having a son through Hagar?

Actually as the Israeli FM pointed out, for most of history muslims and jews have got along just fine. Many arab countries had large Jewish populations Jews lived on in Medina till the 19th century etc. The present difficulties are dues to the creation of Israel and all that entails.

I agree that the creation of the state of Israel provided fuel for the fire. Egypt and Jordan didn't want to lose land or have a Palestinian state, and Israel provided some motivation for pan-Arabism as well as an external diversion to distract domestic anger from oppressive, autocratic Arab regimes. Why have your unemployed hate you when you can tell them to hate the Joos?

Also remeber the poetry of some Arabs after the Turkish conquests, its the best I remeber so forgive me if its wrong

Always nice to have someone to channel the ire of the brainless mobs against, and who better then:

I don't really agree with the whipping boy part. Nobody has got a copyright on suffereing.
