Ok, then permit me to ask why, since I take your participation in this thread to imply some concern for non-proliferation in general and the utility of the NPT as an instrument of preventing proliferation in particular.

If the charges of clandestine Chinese assistance, even direct transfer of nuclear cores (Pu-based), as opposed to the U-based technology that Khan stole from the Dutch consortium, are true, it is a damning indictment of the value of NPT as a non-proliferation instrument. Do you agree?
