    PMQ in Iran

"Iran parliament summons President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad" BBC News - Iran parliament summons President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

The British Prime Minister has to answer 'blind' questions from the House of Commons every week (Wednesdays for half an hour). Interesting to note that Dinnerhacket "faces a long list of questions about the state of the economy" among other things. Perhaps the sanctions ARE hitting home.

US is the only one whose sanctions are in effect. EU's sanctions only come into effect from July. So its too early to call about their effect though i notice the press seems to be playing them up a bit.

These questions look more ike a move from the Ayatollah to sideline Ahmadinejad rather than anxiety over the economy.
