Of course you have to go through the steps, that is why its called EOF. We have every right to defend ourselves if felt threatened and if someone is in violation of our ROE's. Its all provocation anyway, just probing here and there seeing what we do and how we react and to stir up anti-american sentiments in the region. They do the same thing in Iraq.

Although I wish it wasnt so the US will probably have to deal with Iran solo. The liberals are kicking the hell out of every one in Westminster who would say yes to taking Iran into the alley for a good kicking
