What about North Korea?!! Just because they are co-operating now, doesn't mean they will later on. We all know their childish antics. But also, I don't mean to ATTACK them, but to keep them down. Very different things.

North Korea got scared crapless when China cut off all her funds and moved her best two armies to the Sino-Korean border. They even held a war game with the Korean peninsula in full detail.

I remember when Japan cut off the "luxury items" that used to get shipped off to North Korea, and what an impact that would make. Kim Jong enjoys the finest things in life, although average north koreans make $900 a year.

I am under the impression that since Iran has an agenda to undermine the Arab identity that the Saudis will attack before Israel or the U.S. attacks.

Iran has repeatedly called for the destruction of Isreal. Why would Saudi Arabia attack Iran? Saudi Arabia wants to be the dominant one in the region MINUS Isreal.

I bet the Saudis would actually prefer Israel over Iran.

1. Proximity-Obvious
2. Intent-So long as the Saudis don't start with any provocations, the Israelis will leave them alone, as history has shown. The Iranians are not so sure of a bet.
3. Who'd be blamed for all the internal problems and the Palestinain problem if the "Zionist entity" was gone?

Don't underestimate how useful Israel is to those who say that they seek to destroy it but do not actually do anything to back such statements up with substantive conviction.

Iran has much greater potential to be a regional powerhouse than Saudi Arabia. Sure, Saudi Arabia has loads of oil wealth, but Iran has a viable non-oil economy, and industrial base, a middle income economy built from the ground up, and a growing capacity to produce military armaments and equipment.

Israel just wants to be left alone. I think Iran will increasingly want to meddle in things.

Anyhow, I think the question is fairly well-answered for now. Israel won't be attacking Iran anytime soon.

If Isreal wanted, they would've done it by now I guess.

My point still stands though: Saudi Arabia will not attack Iran, whether or not they prefer Isreal over Iran. I don't see that happening.

There is one possibility along those lines... something that has been ever present since the 1950's. If the Wahabis overthrow the House of Saud... at that point there are two ways that they can jump. If Iran happens to be making inroads on Sunni/Arab territory at that point my bet is that they jump into the center of an anti-Shi'ite/Persian Jihad. If not, then Israel would be their target.

How much weapons grade plutonium can be made from a stockpile of 300 tons of flourohexain gas?

Does anyone relive there is even the most remote possibility that the Isrialis would allow themselves to be nuked with this weapon ?

Does any one believe the International nuke liar committies assertion that there is no ongoing program?

Do we believe Iran would NOT use such a weapon, upon it's earliest convenience?
