Really...? A CM who allows his state to burn for a whole month,...and you wish defending a lunatic like him. As if Advani and his RSS hotshots wouldn have allowed anything to happen to Modi.
|
What was Sudhakar Rao Naik, then then CM of maharashtra doing when mumbai was burning for weeks? Why not applying same std on congress CMs where there were riots. Why is this sole finger pointing on modi only.

What proof is left if the Police are directed not to record complaints?...

And what action has the present socalled secular govt of maharashtra has performed on Srikrishna commission report?
I am for applying same stds for all & not selective targetting of few.

Gujrat riots has a parallel in the anti-Sikh riots post Indira Gandhi's murder.
Point being, they're all bastards.

How has that affected his governance?..most of the policies and decisions are sound I would say. AB Bajpai was just as weak inspite of not having a "Sonia Gandhi" to influence him.

How old were you in December 1992?...is you remember clearly the Shiv Sena thigs were at the fore front of the riots. The govt at hand brought in the army. I know a few Shiv Sena activists who were on the run from the army after they moved in.
The difference is in the manner of handling the issue. Sudhakar Naik can be blamed inefficiencies in decision making, but not for directing and inciting the pogroms.

What do you do to a man who threatens to "burn" Bombay if he goes to jail?.... The state govt was NCP-Congress and the Centre was BJP - and both are to blame for weak response to Thakkray's threat.

Are you aware of the number of Shiv Sena delinquents that roam the streets of Bombay.

I was not referring to you. I was referring to the morons who sense of independence in foreign policy means opposing all American decisions, irrespective of the impact on India's national interests.

Reeeaally??
Any insights on how the typical pseudo-capitalist-wannabes think like?

I really don't know how a capitalist wannabe thinks but every patriot would place the interest of the nation first before political ideology, certainly not the way the commie bastards think in our country....

I was old enough to understand what was happening. Also whats the use of calling shiv sena or vhp etc. One can call it as extremist fringe of hindu society.

Why not extend same courtesy to modi, nothing has proven against him. Thats why ppl who think otherwise to get him in front of SC. SC is one of the unbiased authority in our system.

This is the type of lame answer which a govt gives to be in power rather than govern effectively. This govt should take cue from Mr. Rane, who has taken on the tiger in his own den & been successful at that. If one man can do it, so could a govt.

The sad part is that the extremist group is a political party, and it took 5 years of their mis-rule for people to understand their true worth.

By all means...but the system should be allowed to work and not be hijacked.

The above was my question? ...and not my reply. The govt. should have pressed further charges of sedation and waging war against the nation.
