PDF Vs IDF

Hmm this is funny, I had my first tatse of PDF 2day and got banned immediately and seems IDF (www.Indiandefenceforum.com) has been launched. I got this mail earlier which focused on how the site had been launced in response 2 PDF.

But the IDF team was also quick to point out that though the site had been launched in response to Halucinating PDF kiddo's it was in no means going to follow into the footsteps of PDF and allow its members to slam abuse & insults at Pakistani's. The site promises to provide an unbiased forums for discussion on numerous Indian issues and has sternly warned users that any violation of such stupidity will result in banning of members.

What does everyone think about IDF?? Thought the site is new lets all wait and see.

btw, dude, there are almost 20 sites that commetted off PDF, including WAB under a different ownership in a land before time. You have to give credit where its due. PDF in many ways was the 1st (in this weird circle of political gurus) and attracted every looney in town.

btw I think there's another one bharatdefence or something? Then there's that Srirangan's site. Personally as a forum I feel the best policies and the best chance to get into heated debates comes from neutral forums like WAB and DT.

I agree partly wid u man. I have 2 say WAB is top of the class but PDF.....................................As someone said before its a bunch of halucinating kids

Anyone who says WAB is the best is out of his mind.

I mean, i know i am on WAB and should not be saying this but in terms of "Technical Knowladge" and the level of Debating, Bharat-Rakshak is head and shoulders above everything i have come across atleast from Asian Countries.

There are so many Forums on Defence but when you see the Superior knowladge of the POST on BR you think the guys posting elsewhere(especially wrt the Defence equipment) are probably Teenagers posting while having "wetdreams ".

If anyone has any doubts just visit them and check out their various threads without ofcourse trying to start a flame war and you will know what i mean.

PDF has always been crap, it used to have a few good posters though, almost all of them are gone. I do not know why people go on and on about it and take it seriously, it's all kids who don't even know what they are talking about. And this topic was definetely a blatant advertisement.

Well its a defence forum. WAB is world AFFAIRS board. Btw, I don't like BR. I got banned after one post. Nothing offensive, just a little pro-Pakistani.

PDF is filled with Indians who get banned, then they come under different names, then get banned, then again. I hate posters who go around just to pick up fights.

I have been a regular lurker at PDF. Its a good fun reading the posts. But certainly, its a forum filled with guys who left their brains back in their mum's wombs. Not to mention, the biggest & loudest barkers are the most respected there.

Not exactly ab, the biggest and loudest barkers were easily StarsNStripes, during the run-up to Operation Enduring Freedom, and M21Sniper shortly after OIF kicked off.

PDF's "golden age" passed when the mullahs went on a lemming march to pak mil.

Currently, some of the guys like Dizazta76, Psychosaint are on top for spitting venom. None of their posts are w/o any mention of India or Pakistan's unreasonable comparison with India. They talk of nuking India as if they had the nuclear button on their seats and all they need to do is press their butts harder against the chair. Not to mention this guy Psychosaint is the forum Admin.

The real gems were/are condorman (banned) usmanrakan, borzoi, and aksomething. Or any future Iraqi terrorist supporters on that site. Not that M1Tanker, also a newbie on PDF, isn't able to hold his own against them.
