I agree. The president should attend these historical celebrations, especially something as monumental as the end of a 40 year cold war that almost ended the civilized world...several times.

I'm just amazed that he can find time to go on Letterman and take a day trip to Copenhagen, even have a beer summit, but not attend the celebration for the fall of the Berlin Wall.
