The problem there is this stupid 1947 rental act that has fostered this mentality of the landloards waiting for their buildings to collapse so that they can sell their land. I cant believe the prices in Mumbai, its too expensive, went with my friend who was looking for a house a few weeks ago, well apartment actually, it was a decent place, nothing special in South Mumbai, price was 1.1 crores, WOW, that is unaffordable!!!!! This neta builders nexus must stop and prices need to come down, people need to play a more proactive role. In Mumbai even slums can cost you 4 lakhs...
