maybe tibetan modernization is considered evil in western eyes,some people want tibet always be old tibet.calling any change cultural genocide.everybody should be a monk or a nun there.religion should always be the center of everything.that is arguable,people hold different opinions on this issue,it can be disscussed.i dont know if your whole life is religion centered is a good thing or not,i like to learn cause i have never been living in that culture.

i think the moderator changed the title of this thread,i dont really mean to compare china with india,i was just a little frustrated when i found some indian posters put a lot of negative stuff about china on this forum.i hold no grudge against indian government and indian people and i hope the two neighbors could try to understand each other.
