PARIS -- Vandals have struck a cemetery in northern France, defacing the graves of dozens of Muslim First World War soldiers.

A French prosecutor says 148 graves at the cemetery at Ablain-Saint-Nazaire have been sprayed with anti-Islam slogans.

Talk about cowardly and despicable. I can see the resentment towards some of the French Muslim population but to deface graves of those who fought and died for your country? Heinous.

Once again gratitude is not what characterizes the French

So many of these guys died for the motherland during WWI & WWII and the survivors were not even granted the French citizenship for what they had endured!

It has only been recently that what is left of the "colonials" have the same rights as the French veterans.

And now some drunk neo nazi a&&holes add insult to injury by desecrating their graves.Rather depressing
