My best friend since HS is Muslim and I don't ever recall him taking time away from class time to do his prayers. That was over 10 years ago I don't think they would willing allow him to w/o some cheap shot. I think things are getting more confusing in more recent time. Like gunnut said, Christmas is now "winter vacation" and I forgot what Easter's new name is.
I understand the seperation of Church and State, but it seems like the majority has to bend over backwards for smaller groups. I'm a minority, but I don't expect 40 acres and a mule. I wish some of these people who cry foul on something about diversity had common sense. Like allow every student regardless of religon or denomination of religon the same time and if students are to make up missed time due to prayer so should all students even if they're froma different culture.
